Who are UK Restoration Auctions?

UK Restoration Auctions is the trading name of Sydham Restoration Auctions Limited, Registered Company Number 12612761.

Sydham Restoration Auctions Limited was registered with Companies House on the 20th May 2020. 

How do I register to buy with UK Restoration Auctions?

In order to register to buy Lots please complete our Register to Bid form.

Buyers are required to successfully complete our Register to Bid Form below prior to bidding with UK Restoration Auctions.

Please ensure you have read our Terms and Conditions for Buyers before checking the box at the bottom of our Register to Bid Form.

Please note that if you are already a Seller with UK Restoration Auctions then you will have the same username for both selling and buying. On Register to Bid form please enter in the Preferred Username* Box your existing username. You will need to re enter other pre existing entries we have on you for our records. 

All prospective Buyers will be asked to supply full identification, which will take the form of a current driving licence or in the form of a valid passport.

Please note all sold Lots will be invoiced to the Buyer to the address that appears on their supplied driving licence. If a passport has been supplied then we will require a utility bill or other appropriate document with the Buyer’s address on it. 

After submitting the form below please be aware your registration email confirmation may appear in your “Junk” email folder and not your main inbox at first. 

UK Restoration Auctions would be pleased to send additional photos and videos of listed Lots to registered Buyers and are always happy to answer any questions they may have regarding listed Lots. 

UK Restoration Auctions preferred transport partners will be able to offer transport solutions for our Buyers if required.

UK Restoration Auctions are happy to also offer postage via Royal Mail or your preferred courier at the Buyers expense with no mark ups on certain Lots.

UK Restoration Auctions will endeavour to find the safest, most cost effective and secure transport for your Lot(s).

Buyers are welcome to organise their own collections with their own drivers, however all collections must be organised 72 hours before collection of the Lot(s) with the drivers details being provided in addition to a contact telephone number.

Bidding will be conducted solely through our website www.ukrestorationauctions.com. 

How do I register to sell with UK Restoration Auctions?

UK Restoration Auctions will endeavour to assist and provide our Sellers with exactly what they’re looking for when they choose to consign their Lots with us.

Sellers are required to successfully complete our Register to Sell form prior to being given access to our Consignment of Lots section. 

Please ensure that you have read our Terms and Conditions for Sellers before ticking the box at the bottom of our Register to Sell form.

Please note that if you’re already a Buyer with UK Restoration Auctions then you will have the same username for both buying and selling. On the Register to Sell form please enter in the Preferred Username* Box your existing username. You will need to re enter other pre existing entries we have on you for our records.

We would be more than happy to assist our Sellers with valuations and appraisals, as well as photographing and transporting your Lot(s) for sale with us. 

UK Restoration Auctions are able to collect all Lots either in person or via our trusted and preferred transport partners who we have personally used for many years at the Seller’s expense. Our drivers understand exactly what they’re moving and will treat Lots with the utmost care and attention that they deserve.

UK Restoration Auctions are happy to receive Lots via postage via Royal Mail or your preferred courier.

We are more than happy to assist potential Sellers filling in our Register To Sell Form and our Consignment of Lots Form and if required can bring both our Register To Sell and our Consignment of Lots Forms in addition to our Terms and Conditions to you personally when we come to discuss selling your Lot(s) with you.

It is also possible for Sellers to sell and consign with UK Restoration Auctions without meeting us in person and In order to do so please complete our Register to Sell form. 

Sellers will receive an Acknowledged Receipt of Goods” email once your items have been safely received and photographed by UK Restoration Auctions.

Can my items be collected for one of UK Restoration Auctions timed auctions?

Yes of course!

UK Restoration Auctions are able to collect all lots in either in person or through our trusted and preferred transport partners who we have personally used for many years at the Seller’s expense.

Our drivers understand exactly what they’re moving and will treat Lots with the upmost care and attention that they deserve.

UK Restoration Auctions will endeavour to find the safest, most cost effective and secure transport for your Lot(s).

Sellers are welcome to organise their own deliveries with their own drivers, with the drivers details being provided in addition to a contact telephone number.

Vintage Petrol Pump Globes must be collected/delivered by either ourselves, one of our preferred transport partners or collected/delivered in person by the Seller, or their arranged transport provider, once the Consigning Lots form has been competed once the Seller has successfully registered to sell.

UK Restoration Auctions would be please to discuss undertaking the collection of entire collections for Sellers.

Can my purchased Lot(s) be stored with UK Restoration Auctions?

STORAGE SOLUTIONS FOR OUR CLIENTS

UK Restoration Auctions are pleased to offer Buyers post auction storage solutions in case they are unable to collect or take delivery of their purchased items immediately.

Please note there is complementary storage offered on all Lots for 21 days after the end of the timed auction the Buyers Lot(s) were in.

The charges for storing a won Lot once paid for are as follows:

  • Vintage Cans, Tins, Pourers, General Automobilia – £1 per month/£0.25p per week
  • Vintage and Enamel Automobilia Signs – £2 per month/£0.50p per week
  • Vintage Petrol Pump Globes – £5 per month/£1.25p per week
  • Unrestored Restored Vintage Petrol Pumps – £10 per month//£2.00p per week
  • Restored Vintage Petrol Pumps – £20 per month/£5.00p per week

Do UK Restoration Offer Valuations?

UK Restoration Auctions would be pleased to discuss your Lot(s) and agree on a reserve price where applicable.

Please complete our Register to Sell Form prior to contacting us.

UK Restoration Auctions will be pleased to discuss the consignment of vintage petrol pumps, vintage air pumps, vintage petrol pump globes, vintage enamel signs and vintage petrol cans/tins/pourers.

UK Restoration Auctions are not only interested in single items but are pleased to view and discuss marketing entire collections.

Are you able to deliver my purchased Lot(s) to me?

Yes we can!

How do I consign an item with UK Restoration Auctions?

UK Restoration Auctions will endeavour to assist and provide our Sellers with exactly what they’re looking for when they choose to consign their Lots with us.

We are more than happy to assist Sellers filling in our Register To Sell Form and our Consignment of Lots Form and if required can bring both our Register To Sell and our Consignment of Lots Forms in addition to our Terms and Conditions to you personally when we come to discuss selling your Lot(s) with you.

It is also possible for Sellers to sell and consign with UK Restoration Auctions without meeting us in person and In order to do so please complete our Register to Sell form.

Registered Sellers will have access to our Consigning Lots form and Consigning Lots section on our website upon the successful completion and submission our Register to Sell form.

Our Consigning Lots form is required in order to provide UK Restoration Auctions information about the Lot(s) for us to market them effectively.

Reserve prices for Lots can also be outlined on our Consigning Lots form by the Seller.

Additional Consigning Lots forms can be sent if required by UK Restoration Auctions

All prospective Sellers must supply full identification, which will take the form of a current UK driving licence or in the form of a valid passport.

Sellers will receive an “Acknowledged Receipt of Goods” email once your items have been safely received and photographed by UK Restoration Auctions.

Are Lots able to be viewed prior to the timed auction?

All Lots in our timed auctions will be photographed by UK Restoration Auctions and multiple pictures will be provided for each Lot.

We would be happy to take and provide further photographs and videos of the Lot(s) the potential Buyer is interested in and email the photographs and videos to their supplied email address.

A private viewing session for selected Lots can be organised upon request with a minimum of 72 hours notice.

UK Restoration Auctions will inspect each lot in detail to verify the Seller’s submitted description and Lots will be submitted in such time that all lots will be inspected and documented before going live online.

Despite this we cannot and do not take responsibility for the condition of the Lot or the accuracy of its description.

What are UK Restoration Auctions Buyers and Sellers Commissions?

Buyers Commission

A Buyers’ Commission is payable on all Lots, subject to VAT, at the prevailing rate of 5% (minimum of £1.00p Buyers Commission)

There is also a flat fee of £1.00p charged per item purchased. (Internet Bidding Fee)

Sellers Commission

A Sellers’ Premium is payable on all lots, subject to VAT, at the prevailing rate of 5% (minimum of £1.00p Sellers Commission)

There is also a flat fee of £1.00p per item consigned. (Seller’s Consigning Fee)

What are UK Restoration Auctions Bidding Increments?

BIDDING INCREMENTS:

For UK Restorations Auctions timed auctions the following bidding increments will apply:

Under £100:  £2

£100 – £250:  £10

£250 – £500:  £25

£500 – £1,000:  £50

£1,000 – £5000:  £100

£5,000+:   £250

What kind of items do UK Restoration Auctions consider for their online timed auctions?

UK Restoration Auctions will be pleased to discuss the consignment of vintage petrol pumps, vintage air pumps, vintage petrol pump globes, vintage enamel signs and vintage petrol cans/tins/pourers and associated items.

Please be aware that UK Restoration Auctions do not consider Replica or Reproduction items for our timed auctions.
